Mr Hopton consults privately at the Yorkshire Clinic, Cottingley. Clinics are on Thursday afternoons 1.30-5.30. Operations are carried out at the Yorkshire Clinic on Thursday mornings. Private appointments and surgery are also available at Airedale General Hospital upon request.

On receiving your referral Mr Hopton’s secretary, Lisa, will arrange an appointment at a time to suit you. Please note that some private insurers require a G.P referral.

Consultations

New consultations last around 30 minutes when Mr Hopton will ask you about your knee problem as well as general health. He will examine your knee so please come dressed appropriately or bring a pair of shorts with you. If you have any X-Rays or scans of your knee please bring these along to your appointment. Alternatively, let us know where and when you had the investigations so that we may obtain them if necessary.

At the end of the consultation Mr Hopton will discuss his findings and treatment options with you and you will be able to ask questions.

Fees

Mr Hopton sees both self-funding and insured patients. He is registered with all major health insurance companies.

Please note that all patients are responsible for the settlement of their account both self- funding and insured should there be a shortfall or excess on policies.
